The idea was sparked when our founder, John Ferris, spent his childhood summers enjoying BBQ gatherings with family and friends in his own backyard. Those cherished moments around the grill and the laughter-filled evenings under the Texas stars inspired him to share his passion for BBQ with the community.
In 2010, John’s dream came to life when he opened the doors to Ferris Wheels Backyard BBQ in the heart of Dallas. With a mission to serve the best BBQ in town while nurturing the essence of family, friendship, and community, Ferris Wheels quickly became a local favorite and a go-to spot for BBQ enthusiasts.
